Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking knowledgeable customer-focused technicians to join our field service team. You'll troubleshoot and repair industrial batteries and chargers, perform scheduled maintenance, and manage vehicle inventory to service customer sites.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and up to 2 years of related experience; preferred candidates have technical skills, welding ability, and knowledge of testing equipment.

• Less than 2 years related experience preferred.
• Preferred: technical degree or hands-on battery/charger repair experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer batteries and chargers.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

We are seeking knowledgeable customer focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join the Crown team.

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer industrial batteries and chargers.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree, previous battery and charger repair experience, welding skills, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, ability to read and understand electrical schematics, good written/verbal communication skills, and good customer care skills
