Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a Battery and Charger Technician in Lexington, KY. The role focuses on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial batteries and chargers, performing planned maintenance, and maintaining the service van and inventory.

You will also complete required paperwork after each job and support customers on-site. Ideal candidates have less than two years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and may have a technical degree or welding

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer industrial batteries and chargers.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree, previous battery and charger repair experience, welding skills, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, ability to read and understand electrical schematics, good written/verbal communication skills, and good customer care skills
