Job summary

Batteries Plus is seeking a friendly, tech-savvy team member to join our El Paso location as a part-time customer service associate. You will assist customers, learn battery and device repair basics, and contribute to a positive team environment.

You will repair phones and tablets, replace batteries, cut and program keys, and help power devices for both individuals and small businesses. Training is provided, with potential for growth into full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift heavy batteries.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Willingness to learn battery and device repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repair phones and tablets.

• Rebuild battery packs and replace batteries on small items.

A Day in the Life of a Batteries Plus Customer Service Associate:

Don't expect the same boring routine in this position. You get to do it all - repairing phones & tablets, helping customers, rebuilding battery packs, programming key fobs & cutting keys, and much more. You will interact with a variety of people - from the individual cell phone user, to the big business in need of specialized lighting, to small business owners looking for the best source to power their fleet of vehicles.

Enjoy working with Fun & Supportive Team - Learn 'inside of a battery' technology - Learn about LED and other lighting advancements - Learn how to repair phones & tablets

Training provided to use computer system, repair battery packs, replace batteries on small items like watches and key fobs, install auto batteries and more.

Advanced training and raises available for Device Repair Certification - to replace batteries and broken screens in phones and tablets; also to cut & program smart keys, and more.

Strong potential to grow into full-time employment.
