Qualifikationen

• Licenses/certifications include NM Class E or TX Class B driver’s license, EMT-B or higher, NFPA/ICS training, and related certifications.
• Education/experience substitution per County policy; no substitution for required experience.

Aufgaben

• Supervise assigned personnel, including Captains, Lieutenants, Firefighter/EMTs, Firefighter/Paramedics, and volunteers.
• Meet regularly with department personnel to discuss operations and priorities.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, training, and accreditation programs.
• Coordinate department training, prevention, EMS, and special operations activities.
• Respond to emergencies and provide command and coordination per ICS.
