Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Marine Dock Operator to support safe and efficient transfer operations at the waterfront. You will assist with moving oil products and chemicals to and from barges or ships, joining PSC for a full-time career with stability.

This on-call, on-site role requires strong responsibility, readiness to work outdoors, and adherence to PPE and safety standards. 24-hour on-call availability and potential background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available.
• May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus

Responsibilities

• Meets with the person-in-charge of the vessel and communicates with facility personnel
• Maintains detailed dock logs to ensure all events are recorded in chronological order
• Operates crane, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical equipment, and manual / motor operated valves
• Understands the facility piping layout to transfer the proper product
• Gauges barge and retrieves sample of product from vessel
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job
