Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Marine Dock Operator (Dedicated or On-call) in Corpus Christi, TX. This full-time, outdoor position involves overseeing dock operations and assisting with safe oil and chemical transfers near the water.

You will coordinate with vessel personnel, maintain logs, and operate cranes and valves to transfer products. English fluency, on-site work, and the ability to pass drug, physical, and background checks are required. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass drug screen, physical, and background check.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or a TWIC card depending on work location.
• Fluent English required (read, write, speak).
• On-site attendance and punctuality required; previous military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meets with the person-in-charge of the vessel and communicates with facility personnel.
• Maintains detailed dock logs to ensure events are recorded in chronological order.
• Operates crane, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical equipment, and manual/motor operated valves.
• Understands the facility piping layout to transfer the proper product.
• Gauges barge and retrieves samples of product from vessel.
• Completes any other duties assigned to complete the job.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available
• May require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
