Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Dock Operator for full-time outdoor work to assist with the safe transfer of oil products and chemicals to and from barges or ships. You will work with facility personnel, operate cranes and valves, and maintain detailed logs to ensure accurate records while adhering to safety procedures.

Training is provided on the job; a valid driver’s license or TWIC may be required depending on the work location.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Experience not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Valid Driver's License and/or TWIC may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Meet with vessel PIC and coordinate with facility personnel.
• Maintain dock logs and ensure events are recorded chronologically.
• Operate crane, valves, and related equipment.
• Transfer products according to piping layout and safety procedures.
• Take product samples from vessel and gauge barge.
