Surface Experts in Tampa is growing its team and seeks a Bathtub Resurface Technician. The role offers a very competitive base pay with a bonus opportunity and, after a 90-day probationary period, a company car or car allowance.

Candidates should have hands-on experience, attention to detail, customer service skills, and a strong work ethic, plus the ability to commit to a two-year training program and to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience with hands-on work in construction, manufacturing, or similar.
• Knowledge of residential and commercial property work is helpful.
• Color matching skills are important; color blind applicants should not apply.
• Willingness to commit to at least a 2-year training program.

To establish and lead a nationally recognized market for surface repair as an alternative to replacement or complete refinishing. Our goal is to be represented in every major metropolitan area, and for our brand to be synonymous with spot repair among all facilities and maintenance management. We are a national franchise and are in the process of growing our Tampa team. We are looking for a person to fill our Bathtub Resurface technician role. Both men and women make great Surface Experts techs, but there are a few requirements that help us determine whether someone will have the skill set to be able to learn quickly.

Requirements

• Experience of working with your hands, whether that’s in construction, manufacturing or even a hobby.
• Having experience and knowledge working in residential and commercial properties can be very helpful.
• It is helpful, but not necessary to have an art background. Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do. If you are color blind than this is not the job for you.
• The training process is extensive so we are only interested in hiring someone who can make at least a 2-year commitment.
