Job summary

P.J. Fitzpatrick is seeking an Installer Helper to support remodeling projects in customer homes. You will follow the lead installer’s directions, assist with carpentry tasks, and ensure high quality workmanship while maintaining safety and cleanliness on site.

This entry-level role offers first-shift hours with overtime opportunities, a starting pay of $18 per hour, and potential monthly incentive. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential to success at P.J. Fitzpatrick.

Qualifications

• Solid carpentry skills and ability to read and follow installation checklists.
• Good customer relation skills and clear communication with homeowners.
• Willingness to learn production methods and company policies.
• Must pass background check and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow the directions of the installer to ensure proper installation and timely remodel.
• Provide customer service directly to the homeowner and offer solutions for satisfaction.
• Identify house or bathroom specs to determine where to start and review scope and checklist.
• Clean up job site and return equipment safely for transport.
• Learn installation certification under guidance of the main Installer.
• Stage the job and prepare the van for the next day to avoid delays.

GENERAL: Responsible for helping the Installer, remodel Bath or showers in customers' homes. Follow guidelines that the Installer sets and follow quality and safety guidelines. Follow the Company Policies and Procedures and notify installer or Management when needed to retain the integrity of the Company

Responsible for:

• Follow the directions of the installer to ensure proper installation and timely remodel
• Provide customer service directly to the homeowner, provides solutions to ensure customer satisfaction
• Be able to identify the house or bathroom specs to know where to start working and review the scope of work and installation checklist to ensure guidelines and processes are followed
• Clean up job site and ensure that all equipment is clean and placed back in vehicle properly for safety and per guidelines
• Work on Install certification while being coached by the main Installer
• Eventually learn to stage the job completely and load the van for the next day or morning to ensure that the installation will not be interrupted for missing items

Pay: $18 an hour plus the potential of a monthly incentive

Schedule: First shift with overtime
