Job summary

Surface Experts is seeking a hands-on Technician to lead our Bath Surround Resurface Team in Grand Rapids, performing refinishing and repairs on tubs and fiberglass surrounds using our roll-paint method for high-quality results. You’ll work on-site with a local franchise, provide great customer service, track progress, and collaborate with a supportive team.

Training, a branded company vehicle, tools provided, and ongoing mentorship are included.

Qualifications

• Experience with hands-on repair or home improvement work.
• Ability to use PPE gear for respiratory protection.
• Experience refinishing baths/showers and color matching.
• Willingness to learn a new skill over several weeks.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• On the job-site for 1-2 customers per day; spot repairs or refinishing; simple process.
• On-site work is 2-4 hrs per work order; once trained and flowing, on your own.
• Working for a variety of customers in different industries including Property Management, Hotels, Movers, Builders, etc.
• Customer Service and Communication
• Display world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff
• Track work progress and notes in our CRM/Dispatch tool
• Communicate with support team with questions
• Understand and utilize our unique 5-step repair process
• Employ each tool in your custom tool-kit
• Problem-solve repairs with creativity
• We are looking for someone who has experience with roller painting.
• Specifically we're wanting your abilities to use in the process of resurfacing/ refinishing bathtubs and full surrounds of fiberglass and certain enamel.
