Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball is seeking a QA/QC support professional to reinforce our on-site team in the Southeast/Midwest. The role focuses on maintaining confidentiality, organizing records, and supporting data compilation for client turnover.

Strong detail orientation and ability to work independently are essential. Ideal candidates will have experience with quality management systems and knowledge of welding, HVAC, and plumbing on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include strong computer applications skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, structural & isometric drawings.
• Plan and perform work activities independently.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, perform and communicate activities in written and verbal form.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working with quality management systems involving ASME, AWS and AWWA mechanical codes.
• Experience with welding, HVAC, plumbing services on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality record development (hydroforms/civil form set, etc.) for review and retention.
• Maintain effective information storage systems to enable easy retrieval of QA/QC documents and data.
• Support regular compilation and reporting of quality-related QA/QC data for management reporting and review.
• Maintenance of all records demonstrating full traceability of changes to construction documents.
• Inputting data into software programs, and compiling data books for final turnover to clients.
• Must be able to work independently while demonstrating strong integrity and quality.

• ExperienceworkingwithqualitymanagementsystemsinvolvingASME,AWSandAWWAmechanicalcodes.
• Computerliteracyappliedtodatamanagement,collection,andreporting.
• Validdriver’slicense.
• ExperienceinQualityControlactivitiesonassignedprojectsatconstructionsitesperformingWelding,HVAC,Plumbingservices.
• Knowledgepertainingtowelding(pipe,structural),pressuretesting(pneumatic,hydrostatic),coating(paint,plating)andtorquing(bolts,flanges,valves)
• Processpaperworkregardingmaterialtesting/inspectionandQA/QCforNDE,Insulation,Ductingservices.
• Workingonsiteatfieldlocations
