Batchelor & Kimball, Inc. is a mechanical engineering and plumbing contractor serving healthcare, research labs, and industrial facilities in the Southeast and Midwest. We are seeking a QA/QC support professional to maintain confidentiality, manage records, and assist with audits and turnover to clients.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to read drawings, and independent work in a fast-paced construction environment. On-site work is required.

• Strong computer applications skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, structural & isometric drawings.
• Plan and perform work activities independently.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, perform and communicate activities in written and verbal form.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Deliver quality record development (hydroforms/civil form set etc.) for review and retention.
• Maintain effective information storage systems to enable easy retrieval of QA/QC documents and data.
• Support regular compilation and reporting of quality related QA/QC data for management reporting and review.
• Maintenance of all records demonstrating full traceability of changes to construction documents.
• Inputting data into software programs, and compiling data books for final turnover to clients.
• Must be able to work independently while demonstrating strong qualities and integrity.

Qualifications

Whatyou’llneed(minimumqualifications):

• Strongcomputerapplicationskills
• Minimum3yearsandabovefieldexperiencewithabilitytoreadandinterpretmechanical,structural&isometricdrawings.
• Planandperformworkactivitiesindependently
• Abilitytoprioritize,plan,performandcommunicateactivitiesinbothwrittenandverbalform.
• Abilitytomanagemultipletaskswithstrongattentiontodetail.
• ExperienceworkingwithqualitymanagementsystemsinvolvingASME,AWSandAWWAmechanicalcodes.
• Computerliteracyappliedtodatamanagement,collection,andreporting.
• Validdriver’slicense.
• ExperienceinQualityControlactivitiesonassignedprojectsatconstructionsitesperformingWelding,HVAC,Plumbingservices.
• Knowledgepertainingtowelding(pipe,structural),pressuretesting(pneumatic,hydrostatic),coating(paint,plating)andtorquing(bolts,flanges,valves)
• Processpaperworkregardingmaterialtesting/inspectionandQA/QCforNDE,Insulation,Ductingservices.
• Workingonsiteatfieldlocations

• Aptitudetolearnnewsystems

• CertificationorextensiveexperienceasaCWI,API,AIorNDEinspector.
