Job summary

ColdSnap is seeking a Batch Room Production Associate in Billerica, MA. This hands-on role supports large-batch production, following recipes, managing ingredients, and operating batching equipment under supervision. Prior food production experience is valued.

You will help with cleaning, QA/QC sampling, and cross-training across production areas, ensuring safety and quality on the floor. This is a fast-paced, team-driven environment with daily shift routines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Follow safety standards in food production.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Experience in food production preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs preferred.
• Willingness to cross-train across production areas.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented and communicative.
• Comfortable around food processing equipment and PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily task assignments from Batch Room Lead and Supervisor.
• Monitor and adjust machines to prepare production runs.
• Measure and load ingredients per recipes and batch sheets.
• Assist with batching equipment and related systems.
• Support CIP cycles and sanitation procedures.
• Verify ingredients and finished product meet quality standards.
• Assist with QA/QC sampling and testing as needed.
• Clean and sanitize materials and equipment after each shift.
• Learn and apply food safety and QA protocols.
• Communicate equipment issues or delays promptly.
• Cross-train to support canning line and packaging when needed.
