Job summary

Mount Franklin Foods, LLC in El Paso, TX is seeking an Entry Level Batch Roaster. You will work in the Roasting area, mixing and dumping raw materials into cooking baskets, and measuring cook quantities according to batch requirements.

You must adhere to safety, food safety, quality systems and 5S, operate roasters, monitor temperatures, and coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues promptly. This role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading skills, and good communication.
• Required ability to work rotating shifts and on short notice.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Mechanically inclined and able to cross-train in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Light and operate roasters and monitor roasting temperatures.
• Fill roasters with oil when necessary and regulate glaze/salt.
• Weigh and cover every bin filled.
• Post a sample of product for each batch.
• Coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues promptly and maintain equipment.
• Follow safety, food safety, quality systems and 5S methodology.
