Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company in Mason, OH is seeking Batch Operators/Processors for the Processing Department. The role focuses on safety and quality in a fast-paced team environment with a 2pm-10pm shift.

Overtime available before or after the regular shift, potential additional hours. Responsibilities include following production schedules, inspecting equipment, moving ingredients, recording batch data, and maintaining GMP standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• History of safe work practices.
• Prior experience in a warehouse/shipping/receiving/logistics environment required.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to call out defects and uphold Quality standards.
• Must achieve a qualified score on job skills assessment after interview.

Responsibilities

• Follow production schedules to minimize scrap and spoilage.
• Visually inspect equipment for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Clean machine components as needed.
• Monitor and adjust equipment controls, temperature meters, valves.
• Operate forklift/pallet jack to move ingredients and pallets.
• Open ingredient cases and packages using hand tools.
• Record data on work completed and ingredients used.
• Assist in cleaning equipment and lines between recipes.
• Acquire ingredients/supplies from warehouse and collect batch samples.
• Transfer finished products to drums/totes/tanks via piping system.
• Determine batch sizes to meet orders and line capacity.
• Operate equipment safely following GMP guidelines.
