EXECUTION

• Daily start‑up and shutdown of plant facilities according to company policies and procedures with proper pre‑trip inspections.
• Inspect plant daily for proper operational functions and capabilities and evaluate maintenance requirements.
• Inspect admixtures, aggregates, and cement daily, taking record of inventory.
• Report all inventory levels to the Wichita Plant Manager and ensure ample time for reordering.
• Assist in daily concrete order taking and order entry using the BERAN Concrete dispatch management document.
• Ensure all order entries are accurate and meet project submittals and approved mix designs.
• Obtain daily moisture content of aggregates from field quality control or loader operator prior to batching.
• Responsible for the operation of concrete batching process and utilizing company software programs for execution of daily production schedules.
• Ensure all concrete is within project specifications prior to proceeding to the job or project.
• Clean and maintain concrete mixing and loading areas, from the central mixer, dump cone and load bays.
• Participate in ongoing maintenance projects, assisting plant maintenance with projects as needed.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION and COLLABORATION

• Collaborate with Wichita Plant Manager and Field Quality Control to ensure project and concrete specifications are met.
• Communicate with plant maintenance and dispatch of daily repairs, conflicts, and concerns.
• Carry excellent communication skills, representing BERAN Concrete in a professional manner when fielding calls and orders with customers.
• Have effective communication with concrete delivery professionals during downtime to optimize efficiency, allowing cleaning and grease schedules to be completed.
• Collaborate with field quality control to create an effective reporting process of tests performed at the plant and on the job, documenting all data attained.
• Communicate with loader operator, maintaining aggregates, bin location, moisture content, and material changes to accommodate specialty mix designs.
