Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Stockton, CA is seeking a production operator to retrieve, inspect, and prepare products to customer specifications. The role involves operating a mixer machine and batch plant, maintaining production records, and ensuring quality according to job specs.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with basic computer skills and knowledge of concrete fundamentals. ACI Field Testing Certification is preferred but not required; potential to obtain within 6

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with at least 1 month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of concrete fundamentals.
• ACI Field Testing Certification preferred (not required) with potential to achieve within 6 months.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates Mixer Machine and Batch Plant
• Maintain records of production and quality issues as specified
• Notify supervisor of nonconforming product or problems with the machine, materials, etc.
• Communicate production issues with other employees and supervisors
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance ensuring quality
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Basic understanding of electronics and programmable controllers
• Know basics of hydraulics, electricity, and tools
• Assist other operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to meet deadlines
• Understand and apply safe use and operation of equipment and communicate safety matters
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
