Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a hands-on Plant Operator to run batch plant equipment, monitor quality, and support maintenance at our New York area facility. You will work with a team to optimize production while following safety and environmental standards.

We offer hourly pay ($30-$38), a 401(k) with company matching, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and paid leave. Pre-employment checks and drug testing are required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate batch plant equipment to produce concrete and other materials.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
  

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
