Qualifications

Position Responsibilities

Safety :
u2022 Conduct a complete pre-and post-shift safety inspection
u2022 Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and company regulations
u2022 Report unsafe conditions, accidents or incidents immediately to Supervisor
u2022 Communicate with plant management on all safety needs

Job Duties:
u2022 Will accurately proportion materials in batches to load into ready mix and/or asphalt material trucks.
u2022 Will work with Production, Transportation, and Dispatch departments regarding material delivery.
u2022 Responsible for keeping accurate weight, measure, and billing information to ensure proper crediting to customer.
u2022 Checks inventory control of raw materials, additives and/or specialized materials and notifies appropriate suppliers of production needs.
u2022 Responsible for compliance with applicable environmental regulations as it relates to the proper operation of batch plant equipment.
u2022 Responsible for daily inspection of facilities and will complete maintenance checklist.
u2022 Will operate a front end loader when needed.
u2022 Will work overtime as needed.
u2022 Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures

Position Requirements
u2022 2-4 years of batch plant experience highly preferred
u2022 Maintenance experience a plus
u2022 Experience working at an aggregates plant highly preferred
u2022 Will operate heavy equipment (loader) when needed
u2022 Must have high school diploma or GED
