Job summary

GFT Ready Mix is seeking a skilled Batch Plant Operator to join our team in Flagstaff, AZ. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain batch plant equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality concrete products in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor production, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and keep accurate production records while adhering to safety policies. The role requires teamwork and clear communication, with flexible hours including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating batch plant equipment.
• Proficient with basic math, including units of measure.
• Experience with Command Alkon highly preferred.

We are seeking a skilled Batch Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the batch plant equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality concrete products.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the batch plant equipment to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products
• Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and consistency
• Perform routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and repair any equipment malfunctions in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of production and inventory levels
• Communicate effectively with team members and management

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience operating and maintaining batch plant equipment required
• Must be proficient with basic math, including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure
• Experience with Command Alkon highly preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively on radio/phone system
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
