Custom Building Products seeks a Batch Operator for the Lithia Springs, GA plant. You will blend ingredients, load materials, and operate mixers to produce high-quality products. The role emphasizes safety, accurate records, and coordination with Quality Control.

The position is in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM) and overtime as needed. A shift premium of $1.00/hr applies, with potential raises after 90 days based on performance.

Qualifications

• Requires reading and understanding work orders/instructions.
• Experience with batch or blending preferred, but training is available.
• Experience operating automated equipment in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and production instructions precisely to ensure product quality.
• Weigh, measure, and load ingredients into mixers; take samples and coordinate with Quality Control.
• Operate mixing/blending equipment for cement, grout, mastic, and cleaning products; monitor automated systems.
• Maintain accurate production records (batch logs, maintenance, calibration, shift handoff).
• Assist with packaging and material handling to support production flow.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements; participate in safety training; report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
