Job summary

PurposeBuilt Brands in Manchester, TN is seeking a 1st/2nd Shift Batch Operator to keep production lines running and batches on schedule. You will fill out batch sheets, perform quality checks, and help implement improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and interpret recipes, weights and measures.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Blend batches of powders and liquids following batching sheets and SOPs; weigh and measure ingredients.
• Operate machines, diaphragm/electric pumps, mixers, and packaging equipment for production.
• Perform routine quality testing and document daily production performance and issues.
• Disassemble, clean, reassemble, and set up equipment; make light adjustments.
• Pull and organize materials for production; verify materials to be used.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and contribute to efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Complete safety training and follow safe work practices at all times.
• Duties may change at any time, with or without notice.
