Job summary

Meridian Adhesives Group is seeking a Batch Maker to mix raw chemical materials and produce quality adhesive products. The role follows batch instructions, monitors mixers, and adjusts processes under QC guidance.

It requires basic math, ability to lift 50–60 lbs, and reading English. We offer 1st shift hours (5:00 AM–2:30 PM Mon-Thu, 7:00 AM–11:00 AM Fri), a starting rate of $23.00/hr, and a productivity incentive plan up to $1,520 annually.

• Read digital scales.
• Chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage and manually charge raw materials into mixing container.
• Follow batch work instructions to produce quality products.
• Monitor and control mixing equipment to ensure batches follow work instructions.
• Adjust a batch under QC guidance until approved.
• Follow manufacturing schedule and coordinate with Supervisor on improvements.
• Clean up work area to company standards.
• Ensure work area is safe, clean, and free of hazards; report spills to supervisor or safety.
• Comply with PPE standards.

Job Summary

The batch makers are responsible for mixing the raw chemical materials to create our products.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Stages and manually charges necessary raw materials into mixing container.
• Follows batch work instructions to manufacture quality products.
• Monitors and controls mixing equipment and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions.
• Adjust a batch under QC guidance until it is approved.
• Follows manufacturing schedule and works with Supervisor regarding any potential improvements or concerns.
• Cleanup work area to company standards.
• Ensure work area is safe, clean, and free of recognizable hazards, communicate all spills or other hazards immediately to floor either supervisor or safety.
• Comply to all PPE standards.

Schedule: 1st Shift 5:00AM -2:30PM Monday through Thursday and 7:00AM - 11:00AM on Friday.

Pay: This position has a starting hourly rate of $23.00 per hour. The range represents the expected hourly range for this position. The actual hourly range may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location. T his position offers opportunities for wage and career progression through the batch maker development path. Employees' progress will be reviewed after 30 and 90 days based on demonstrated job proficiency, completion of required training, consistent performance, safety, attendance, and the ability to perform increasingly complex batch making responsibilities. Progression is not automatic and is subject to management review and business needs.

Bonus Pay: Meridian is actively participating in a productivity incentive plan for 2026. Eligible employees have the opportunity to earn up to $1,520 a year, with payments distributed quarterly throughout the year.
