Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a Production Technician (Batch Maker) to weigh, mix, and dispense materials for Quadex coatings in a warehouse setting. You will work closely with the Production Lead to ensure batch accuracy, safety, and paperwork compliance.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to operate forklifts and drum handling equipment, and willingness to follow strict SOPs. Standard hours are 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, mix, and dispense materials according to batch records.
• Assist Production Lead and monitor for abnormal conditions.
• Label containers with correct product and batch information.
• Document steps per batch records and SOPs.
• Prepare equipment for next production run and perform changeovers.
