Job summary

The Sacramento Kings are offering a Basketball Operations Intern position to support our front office with player personnel, scouting, and analytics projects. You will help with scouting calendars, data research, and materials preparation for front office meetings.

Ideal candidates will be enrolled in college or recent graduates within 12 months, able to commute to downtown Sacramento, and available to work up to 25 hours per week. Compensation includes $17.50 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of team operations experience is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of amateur, collegiate, and/or professional basketball.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with video platforms such as Synergy, HUDL and Hoop 1 preferred.
• Willingness to work unconventional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support front office with scouting and analytics projects.
• Secure tickets and credentials for basketball events.
• Conduct data entry projects using Excel or CSV.
• Organize prospect lists, scouting documents, and scouting calendar.
• Utilize video platforms to prepare materials for the front office.
• Assist with meeting preparation and note-taking.
