Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Youth Sports Coach & Official to lead games, apply league rules, and create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for every player, coach, and family.

This role offers a flexible part-time seasonal schedule that works around school or another job, on-site training with ongoing support, and opportunities to mentor young athletes and build lasting memories in your community.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and passion for working with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous sports playing, coaching, or officiating experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, problem-solve, and take initiative.
• Dependable, responsible, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to work weekend schedules throughout the season (approximately 7 weeks).
• Must successfully complete a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support youth sports games while creating a fun and encouraging atmosphere
• Learn and apply i9 Sports rules and guidelines to promote safe and fair competition
• Teach and reinforce teamwork, sportsmanship, effort, and respect
• Provide age-appropriate instruction and encouragement during games
• Manage game timing, scoring, and basic field/court responsibilities
• Communicate professionally and positively with players, coaches, parents, and staff
• Help create an organized, welcoming, and memorable experience for every family
