Job summary

i9 Sports - St. Lucie & Palm Beach, FL is seeking basketball coach/instructors for weekend mornings in Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter. You will enforce rules, model good sportsmanship, and guide players during games and practices across multiple sports (basketball, flag football, soccer, baseball).

The role centers on creating a fun, safe experience with strong customer service and the ability to lead and mentor young athletes. Weekend schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience preferred.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and solve problems.
• Ability to take charge in various situations to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Weekend availability for the full season (~7 weeks).
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Job Summary The basketball coach/instructor is a critical role in any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day. We are also hiring for flag football, soccer, and baseball as well!

The times are only on weekends (Saturday and Sunday mornings) in Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter.

Responsibilities

• Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
