Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a part-time weekend basketball coach/instructor in Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter, FL. You will enforce program rules, model sportsmanship, and deliver age-appropriate coaching across multiple sports, including basketball, flag football, soccer, and baseball.

This role focuses on a positive culture, safe play, and strong customer service, with opportunities for growth through online training and franchise resources. Weekend mornings only during the season.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
• Motivated self-starter; able to work independently.
• Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure players' safety.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Able to work weekends for the full season.

• Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players.
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values.
• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.

Job Summary

The basketball coach/instructor is a critical role in any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day. We are also hiring for flag football, soccer, and baseball as well!

The times are only on weekends (Saturday and Sunday mornings) in Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter.
