Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Float hours - Work Hours/Shift: Full time; hours of Centra Care operation are Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, and 8am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and some holidays. 40 hours a week, float pool schedule built a month in advance. Flexibility is needed, shifts may vary, but hours will fall within the CC hours of operation.

Location: Possible travel to Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, Ormond Beach and Port Orange offices

• Centra Care is the affordable alternative to the emergency room for urgent conditions like broken bones, infections, allergies, stomach problems and pediatric concerns.

The role you’ll contribute:

Reporting to the Practice Manager and under the supervision of the Providers, the X-Ray Technician cares for patients and performs a wide variety of patient care activities, including laboratory testing and radiographic exams. Adheres to state, federal and organizational guidelines to ensure quality care and patient safety with support from the Clinical Excellence team. Is essential in maintaining organization and facilitating patient flow. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all.

• Creates and owns the patient experience by driving customer service initiatives.
• Performs basic radiological examinations, including quality controls and clerical duties. Processes reference laboratory specimens, including venipuncture, specimen handling, labeling, and tracking results.
• Documents all procedures and assessments clearly and in accordance with department policy.
• Assesses patients during clinical check-in using age-specific guidelines, documents medical information and vital signs, and identifies signs of abuse or neglect.
• Completes general orders and follow-up assessments as directed by the provider, and responds appropriately in clinical emergencies and triage situations.
