Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan ISD 196 is hiring a part-time Secretarial/Clerical/Basic Skills Clerk for Shannon Park Elementary School. The role runs 4 hours daily on a 10-month calendar, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., ASAP start. Compensation ranges per RAVE Clerical Association, with benefits eligibility for active employees.

This position supports students in core subjects, communicates with staff, and maintains student records, contributing to a positive, inclusive school environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working with students on math, science, writing and reading.
• Ability to communicate with and relate positively with students and staff.
• Experience working with a diverse school community is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 or with a small group of students providing academic support and positive reinforcement.
• Develop and maintain a record keeping system.
• Implement and record individual student interventions.
• Work 1:1 with iPads, email, and student information systems to communicate with staff and students.
