Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation is seeking a Sports Coordinator in Honolulu, Hawaii to enhance the youth sports experience for players and coaches. You will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while delivering instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience.

You will observe, assess, and assist coaches during practices and games across all levels. The role requires hands-on involvement with practices and games, weekend availability, and a commitment to safety and sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with players, parents, and coaches.
• Experience coaching sports at a youth level or similar.
• Able to work independently and solve problems on-site.
• Strong awareness of safety and risk management in youth sports.
• Proven ability to build professional relationships within a team and with families.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
• Teach and demonstrate core sportsmanship concepts.
• Oversee the overall operation of designated sport on game day.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide superior customer service to families.
• Set up and break down the field and equipment as needed.

Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands‑on involvement with practices and games among all groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
• Set up and break down field

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work on weekends (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
• Season Dates July 12-Aug 23, Oct 25-Dec 6, Jan-Mar, Apr-June
