Job summary

The Texas Rangers are seeking a highly motivated Minor League Physical Therapist to join the Performance department in Surprise, Arizona. You will evaluate, treat, rehabilitate, and guide players through return-to-play with a consistent rehab philosophy across the organization.

The role requires DPT and Arizona licensure or eligibility, experience with athletes, and the use of objective measures. Strong communication and collaboration with athletic trainers and sport science staff are essential.

Qualifications

• DPT required and licensed in Arizona or eligible.
• Experience with athletes in sports medicine or high-performance settings.
• Strong orthopedic and sports rehabilitation knowledge.
• Experience creating and progressing individualized rehab and return-to-play plans.
• Baseball-specific rehab experience and progressions.
• Experience using objective performance measures and related tech.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate players post-injury or surgery.
• Develop baseball-specific rehab and return-to-play progressions.
• Collaborate with Athletic Trainers, physicians, and sport science staff.
• Document injuries, treatments, and progress thoroughly.
• Assist with game/workout coverage and travel as needed.
• Support organizational rehab philosophy and standards.
