Job summary

City Of League City is seeking a Ballpark Maintenance worker to perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, groundskeeping, custodial, and operational duties for municipal baseball and softball fields and related facilities. You will prepare fields for games, inspect surfaces, perform turf tasks, operate equipment, and support parks operations during events and public use.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Texas driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare baseball/softball fields for games, practices, and events including infield grooming and line painting.
• Inspect playing surfaces and address unsafe conditions, standing water, and debris.
• Perform routine turf maintenance such as mowing, edging, and debris removal.
• Operate and maintain field equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with tournaments, leagues, and special events and support public use of facilities.
