The role requires traveling domestically and internationally as needed, weekend/evening hours, and proficiency with data tools (Rapsodo, Hit Trax).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Current CPR & First Aid certification.
Valid driver's license.
Prior experience playing college baseball is preferred.
Prior experience with coaching college baseball is preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain collegial relationships.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Ability and willingness to work weekends, evenings and other non-traditional schedules.
Knowledgeable about the skills and tactics of the sport.
Proficiency in basic data management systems, Front Rush, game film editing programs and basic computer applications (e.g., Word,Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Assist Head Coach in all practices and games during the 2026-2027 academic year.
Assist with opponent scouting before and during this season.
Operate Rapsodo, AWRE, and Hit Trax systems as needed.
Apply collected data to the development of all players.
Create reports and improvement plans for players as needed throughout the season.
Assist with all aspects of offensive/defensive strategies during practice sessions.
Must be able to hit a fungo and throw quality BP.
