Qualifications

• Successful completion of NJCAA certification exam preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification or ability to receive cert.
• High school head varsity coaching and/or college coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, organize, and administer all aspects of the program.
• Identify, evaluate & recruit academically prepared students according to policies.
• Provide mentoring and academic oversight of student athletes to ensure retention.
• Instruct players on rules, regulations, strategies, and proper technique.
• Determine and implement game strategies.

Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

Organizational skills

Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision

Education

Successful completion of NJCAA certification exam preferred

Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
