Job summary

Rochester Institute of Technology is seeking a part-time Assistant Baseball Coach for a 10-month term, reporting to the Head Baseball Coach. You will recruit academically qualified student-athletes, plan practices, prepare for games, and mentor players on and off the field to promote academic achievement and athletic excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Minimum).
• 1 year of relevant experience (Minimum).
• NCAA Coaches Certification, or ability to pass certification test; AED/CPR and First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with players to provide mentorship and support.
• Coaching and instruction during practices and games on fundamentals and safety.
• Support conditioning in coordination with head coach and staff.
• Conduct player evaluations and develop improvement plans.
• Apply knowledge of sport trends and innovations in training.
• Assist with practice planning, workouts, scouting, and film breakdown.
