USA Baseball seeks a motivated Intern, Baseball Systems & Analytics, to support data collection and player development initiatives at the National Training Complex in Cary, NC. Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, communications, technology, or related field.
• Experience with TrackMan, or similar baseball tracking technologies.
• Proficient in R and Python; experience building dashboards in R Shiny and R Markdown.

Responsibilities

• Aggregate and analyze athlete performance data to support evaluation and development efforts.
• Query databases, clean datasets, and generate insights for identification and program improvement.
• Develop dashboards and tools to monitor data quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Operate and manage TrackMan and AWRE systems to support data collection and player evaluation.
• Coordinate and manage scheduling of TrackMan/AWRE operators for events at the NTC.
• Communicate with athletes and stakeholders to share reports and logistics.
