This position will assist with organizing and analyzing athlete data collected through advanced technologies to support player identification, development, and performance initiatives.The USA Baseball National Training Complex (NTC) in Cary, North Carolina, is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including the TrackMan V3 radar, AWRE Cameras and integrated data collection systems. The Baseball Systems and Analytics Intern will work with both large and small datasets to verify dataset accuracy, build player reports, identify performance trends, assist with player evaluation and selection, and develop tools that enhance USA Baseball’s understanding and application of athlete performance data. The Baseball Systems and Analytics Intern will also help to oversee and manage the function of the NTC’s TrackMan and AWRE systems during events, and aid in the supervision of the TrackMan and AWRE Operators assigned to each field. Additionally, this position may be asked to support the operations of the PDP, such as assisting with data collection or aiding in the Player Reporting process.Through this single application, USA Baseball will hire two (2) Interns, Baseball Systems & Analytics.**Position Details:*** Full-time hours (40+ hours/week)* Duration: May (NO later than June 1) – August 2026 (flexible start and end dates)* On-site work required (locations vary by assignment)* Domestic travel involved in this position (all travel costs accrued during internship are covered by USA Baseball)**In this Role:** As an **Intern, Baseball Systems and Analytics**, you will gain hands-on experience in sports technology, data management, and performance analysis while supporting USA Baseball’s Technology and Analytics Department.
