This position will assist with organizing and analyzing athlete data collected through advanced technologies to support player identification, development, and performance initiatives.The USA Baseball National Training Complex (NTC) in Cary, North Carolina, is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including the TrackMan V3 radar, AWRE Cameras and integrated data collection systems. The Baseball Systems and Analytics Intern will work with both large and small datasets to verify dataset accuracy, build player reports, identify performance trends, assist with player evaluation and selection, and develop tools that enhance USA Baseball’s understanding and application of athlete performance data. The Baseball Systems and Analytics Intern will also help to oversee and manage the function of the NTC’s TrackMan and AWRE systems during events, and aid in the supervision of the TrackMan and AWRE Operators assigned to each field.
