Qualifications

• Total flight time: 2000 hours or more.
• Helicopter time: 1500 hours or more.
• PIC helicopter: 1000 hours or more.
• Turbine experience: 500 hours or more.
• Night flying: 100 hours unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and training to Base Line Pilots.
• Coordinate pilot duty schedules with Regional Director of Flight Operations.
• Coordinate flight planning resources for mission support at the base.
• Conduct orientations for new hire pilots assigned to the base.
• Coordinate aviation activities for public relations events.
• Review and submit monthly flight/duty logs to the Regional Director.
• Monitor pilots at the base and support day-to-day flight/administrative issues.
• Submit payroll grids to the Regional Director of Flight Operations.
• Operate aircraft safely and in accordance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual; monitor weather changes.
• Perform preflight checks and document discrepancies.
• Report rested and prepared for duty with weather updates.
