Job summary

V2X is seeking a Base Operations Infrastructure Support (CE Operations) Lead to oversee all facets of base operations and civil engineering support at Ascension Auxiliary Airfield (AAAF), coordinating facilities, utilities, and airfield infrastructure.

You will supervise CE personnel, ensure quality and contract compliance, respond to emergencies, and provide technical guidance for planning, design reviews, and audits. Must be a US citizen with a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
US citizenship required.
Six years of relevant experience, including base operations or civil engineering.
Four years in a supervisory role overseeing technical staff.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate tasks across base operations infrastructure, including facilities, utilities, HVAC, water systems, and airfield infrastructure.
Supervise CE personnel, ensure mission readiness and contract performance standards.
Implement a Quality Control Plan to verify work meets PWS standards.
Ensure environmental, safety, and security compliance across base infrastructure.
Provide technical guidance for planning, design reviews, and troubleshooting.
