Job summary

Powderhorn Ski Patrol seeks a Base Medic to assist the ski patrol team and provide medical care in the base area. You will staff the first aid room during operating hours, evaluate injuries, and coordinate transport for guests and employees as needed.

Qualifications

• Colorado EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic certification is required.
• Current CPR and AED certification is required.
• Experience in ski patrol or remote medical settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staffs the First Aid Room during operating hours 0900-1700.
• Provides medical care and transportation for injured guests and staff.
• Maintains a professional appearance and a clean FAR.
• Assists ski patrollers with incidents and evacuations as needed.
• Uses radios and coordinates with Ski Patrol Dispatch at all times.
• Protects patient confidentiality per company policies.
• Participates in training and post-accident procedures.
