Job summary

Tenaris Baytown, TX is seeking a Base Maintenance Group Supervisor I to lead the development and supervision of the Preventive Maintenance plan, ensuring equipment reliability and performance. The role requires strong analytical skills, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

You will supervise inspections, ensure adequate technical resources and stock, support engineering in equipment assessment and startup of new machinery, and manage the maintenance cost budget while adhering to HSE

Qualifications

• Develops and supervises the execution of the Preventive Maintenance plan.
• Analyzes failures and performance, defines corrective actions and improvements.
• Ensures health, safety and environment standards are followed.
• Draws up maintenance cost budgets and controls costs.
• Supports Engineering in equipment assessment and startup of new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Optimizes reliability and maintainability by defining maintenance strategies and supervising preventive plans.
• Performs and oversees inspections in his area of responsibility.
• Ensures technical resource availability and maintains stock levels.
• Provides support to emergency crews and staff areas as needed.
• Participates in maintenance information systems and decision support.
• Drives energy-efficient maintenance programs and analyzes complex topics.
