Job summary

NetJets is hiring a Base Maintenance Planner to optimize aircraft maintenance planning and reduce downtime. You will coordinate with Flight Operations, base stations, suppliers, and MCC to align schedules with peak flight periods, ensuring compliance with inspection programs and regulatory requirements for maximum availability.

The role emphasizes developing work packages, leveraging planning tools, and monitoring fleet intervals, with strong opportunities for growth and industry-leading

Qualifications

  • Experience planning and scheduling maintenance with a focus on availability and cost.
  • Understanding of maintenance programs and regulatory requirements.
  • FAA certs are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, maintains, and publishes the long term base maintenance plan (0 to 12 months) that meets operational needs while maximize yield, and reduce cost, while providing maximum aircraft availability.
  • Plans and schedules both short and long term maintenance requirements, time-limited component changes, while working closely with Line Planning to plan Deferred Maintenance Items.
  • Develops work packages for NetJets designated Maintenance Base Stations, taking into account requirements such as maintenance skills, tools, materials, available man-hours, and ground time.
  • Acts as a single point of contact for coordination with designated Base Stations to ensure aircraft requiring maintenance tasks are properly planned for and communicated with third party maintenance providers.
  • Review scheduled maintenance program for opportunities to improve planning. Examples, include tasks escalation, optimizing repairs, and fleet campaigns.
  • Monitors inspection interval utilization, communicates and resolves potential scheduling with Master Schedulers. Carries out aircraft improvements in accordance with warranty coverage. Provides feedback on fleet compliance and inspection programs

Purpose of Position

The Base Maintenance Planner, plans scheduled maintenance to reduce the impact of aircraft maintenance, maximizing event yields, while minimizing down time & cost. Coordinates planning activities with Flight Operations, Base Station Managers, Suppliers, Materials, MCC and Line Planning. Plan maintenance events around peak period flight periods to provide aircraft availability to meet operational needs. Ensure that all maintenance requirements are complied with in accordance with NetJets Approved Aircraft Inspection Programs, Continuous Inspection Programs, or Regulatory Requirements and company requirements.

  • Completes additional projects, campaigns, and initiatives as required to enhance company or department goals which directly affect financial and operation metrics..
