Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Security clearance commensurate with property movements and computer systems (SECRET).
• Minimum 4 years U.S. Air Force Base Supply and/or Transportation experience.
• Flight Line Driving Permit required.
• Restricted area badge to access flight line aircraft parking areas required.
• Lift/carry up to 40 lbs and knowledge of cargo tie-down and security procedures.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Experience operating material handling equipment, including forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight trucks (step vans, 1.5-ton stake truck with lift gate) safely.
• Coordinate with base customers on requirements.
• Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Verify inventory loads against delivery lists and maintain audit trails.
• Follow DOT/OSHA/USAF regulations and safety standards.
• Deliver assets along established routes and time schedules.
• Report accidents, injuries, and safety hazards promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of supply and transportation management practices.
