Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Base Hospital EMS & Disaster Specialist to coordinate life-saving educational programs and quality monitoring for pre-hospital care across the region. You will work with Base Hospital and disaster teams to design and deliver training for EMS providers and medical direction staff, ensuring high standards of emergency care.

The role offers professional autonomy in a fire-friendly, hybrid schedule, with responsibilities spanning data reporting, protocol

Qualifications

Requires BLS certification and EMT licensure.
Minimum of five years pre-hospital experience with leadership, quality improvement and education.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
Proficient computer skills including word processing, presentation, and data tools.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and present pre-hospital and disaster education programs for EMS providers and medical direction staff.
Assist planning and coordination of EMS conferences and educational events.
Develop and monitor quality outcome reports and indicators for Base Hospital Program.
Support development of EMS protocols/guidelines with Base Hospital leadership.
Participate in regional and national EMS education initiatives and meetings.
