Job summary

Jet OUT is seeking a Base Chief Pilot to lead a base flight department, ensuring professionalism, safety, and efficient operations. The role supervises pilots, coordinates training, and maintains strong communication with the main office.

You will oversee hiring, onboarding, and recurring training, while handling disciplinary issues and ensuring compliance with FARs and company manuals. Some travel to Milwaukee and other Jet OUT bases is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in Part 135 or Part 121 operations.
• Minimum one year experience as PIC in turbojet operations.
• ATP Pilot Certificate AMEL and current 1st Class Medical required.
• CE-525 Type Rating and CE-525C hours preferred.
• Bachelor's degree and aviation management experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Chief Pilot and liaises with Director of Operations.
• Maintain PIC proficiency on CJ4 and supervise base pilots.
• Participate in interviews, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate training, schedules, and disciplinary issues at the base.
• Ensure compliance with FARs, OP Manuals, and company SOPs.
• Travel to Milwaukee and other bases as required.
