Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Austin, TX seeks an ELM Project Manager specialized in strengthening our Base Building Qualification processes. You will lead IOQ assessments, work with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BMS systems, and drive continuous improvements to ensure reliable facilities from Day 1.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial/operations/manufacturing engineering or project engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with IOQ, qualification audits, and base building systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead IOQ assessments aligned with system readiness and commissioning timelines.
• Provide SME input for base building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire, BMS, critical power) during qualification.
• Shadow auditors during IOQ to optimize checklist execution and resource allocation.
• Drive checklist revision and historical analysis of qualification audits to improve specs and standards.
• Define RME deliverables and report progress via KPI analysis across multiple business units.
• Coordinate with Global Real Estate, Design & Construction, and Launch Execution on budgets and qualification changes.
• Integrate RME deliverables into General Contractor agreements; develop SOPs and templates.
• Design handover processes, set readiness thresholds, and create vendor scorecards.
• Calculate cost avoidance and ROI across design and construction decisions.
