Job summary

Vail Resorts is seeking a Base Area Operator for the winter season 2026/27. You’ll help run base area operations, including parking and grounds maintenance, to deliver an exceptional arrival experience for guests.

The role is winter seasonal with a starting wage of $20.00 per hour, requiring availability on weekends/holidays and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Housing is available in some cases.

Job Responsibilities

• Assistin all base area operations which may include and is not limited to parking, scanning,or groundsmaintenanceatthe base of the resort(inclusive of snow removal in the winter).

ABase Area Operatorteam member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

• Guest Services

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
