Job summary

AiRCO Mechanical Ltd. is expanding its Building Automation team with a Submittals Engineer who will transform project requirements into precise, build-ready documentation while driving technical excellence and value for customers.

The role focuses on designing BAS submittals including riser diagrams, network topology, and wiring, using AutoCAD and Visio, with emphasis on coordination with Sales and Project Management to support bids and timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong HVAC domain knowledge and ability to translate requirements into precise submittals.
• Experience creating thorough BAS submittal packages (riser diagrams, network topology, wiring schematics).
• Experience coordinating with Sales/PM teams to support estimates and bids.

Responsibilities

• Design Building Automation Controls projects to scope and budget, ensuring equipment compatibility.
• Produce BAS submittal packages: riser diagrams, network topology, and wiring for HVAC/electrical systems.
• Create and validate SOOs; generate Bills of Material and assist in RFIs with design issues.
