Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a field service technician to perform preventative maintenance, startup, and troubleshooting on building automation systems in the Houston area.

The role includes remote support and managing maintenance hours on assigned contracts. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 3 years of experience in building automation and mechanical controls, with preferred MET/MES certifications or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years related experience in building automation and mechanical controls service.
• Mechanical service experience preferred.
• Service estimation experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Automated Logic, Tridium, Honeywell, Trane, JCI and other control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled controls preventative maintenance for building automation systems.
• Perform startup/checkout/commissioning of building automation systems.
• Perform service call troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of building automation systems.

• Perform technical startup/checkout/commissioning of building automation systems
• Perform service call troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of building automation systems
• Provide remote support for building automation customers
• Manage estimated preventative maintenance hours on assigned contract
• Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required. MET Technical Degree, MES Journeyman, or equivalent preferred.
